General Acceptance

By booking or receiving any service at Serene Beauty Salon, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full. These terms apply to all waxing and threading treatments performed in-store or by appointment.

Serene Beauty Salon is a women-only service provider. Services are exclusively offered to female clients to ensure comfort, privacy, and a safe, respectful environment for both clients and staff. The salon reserves the right to refuse service if this policy is not adhered to.

While all care is taken to provide safe and professional treatments, Serene Beauty Salon cannot guarantee that skin will not react to waxing, threading, products, or treatments used.

  • Reactions may include redness, irritation, sensitivity, or allergic response
  • Clients proceed entirely at their own risk
  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform the therapist of any known allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities

We accept no liability for any adverse skin reactions before, during, or after treatment.

Patch testing may be recommended for new clients or sensitive skin types.

  • Refusal of a patch test is the client’s decision and responsibility
  • Serene Beauty Salon will not be held liable for reactions where a patch test was declined

Clients are responsible for:

  • Informing staff of medical conditions, skin issues, or medication use (e.g. retinol, acne treatments, or skin-thinning products)
  • Following all aftercare advice provided
  • Ensuring they are suitable for waxing/threading prior to treatment

Failure to disclose relevant information releases the salon from all liability.

Results may vary depending on individual skin type, hair growth cycles, and aftercare compliance. We do not guarantee identical results for all clients.

  • Appointments must be honoured at the scheduled time
  • Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time or cancellation
  • We reserve the right to charge for missed appointments or late cancellations
  • Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings

  • Serene Beauty Salon operates as a professional business and does not provide free services under any circumstances.

    • Complaints regarding expected results do not entitle clients to refunds or free treatments
    • Any request for rework will be assessed at management’s discretion
    • Abuse, manipulation, or attempts to obtain free services will result in refusal of future service
  • All services are non-refundable once performed
  • Dissatisfaction based on personal preference does not qualify for refunds
  • Refunds are only considered in cases of proven service error, at management’s sole discretion
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who:
    • Displays inappropriate, aggressive, or abusive behaviour
    • Refuses to comply with hygiene or safety requirements
    • Attempts to manipulate staff for free or discounted services

  • All treatments are performed under strict hygiene standards. Clients must ensure they are clean and suitable for treatment. The salon is not liable for issues arising from poor personal hygiene or undisclosed conditions.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Serene Beauty Salon, its staff, and affiliates shall not be held liable for:

    • Skin reactions or sensitivity
    • Temporary discomfort, redness, or irritation
    • Client failure to follow aftercare instructions
    • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

    All treatments are undertaken at the client’s own risk.

  • Serene Beauty Salon reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

  • Serene Beauty Salon is not responsible for misuse of services, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or undisclosed medical conditions that may affect treatment outcomes.
